Dispersants
The most efficient way to break down oil in water
Oil dispersants from SpillPro efficiently and safely break down oil following a spill.
Through the biodegradation process, our dispersants diminish hydrocarbons to levels deemed safe by local and international regulators.
Our dispersants can be applied to vast areas, making even the largest spill manageable. The result is time-efficient spill management. Minimal environmental damage. And reduced need for costly clean-up efforts.

How SpillPro dispersants work
SpillPro's Finasol dispersants are formulated to work with microorganisms that occur naturally in seawater.
They can be sprayed onto an oil slick via aircraft, boat or specialist spray systems – like SpillPro's Neat Sweep. They break the slick down into droplets by breaking the surface tension between the oil and water.
Then, the kinetic energy from waves helps the dispersant dilute the hydrocarbon particles. Eventually, these particles biodegrade as microorganisms in the water turning the oil into water and carbon dioxide.
